Commercial Drive

It was my last day in Vancouver, so last chance to see all the spots I had not been able to see yet. I started with breakfast at a little café that had pretty good sourdough bread and pumkin seed spread with jam and where I probably wrote one of the last blog entries while drinking heaps of coffee.

It was dry and warm, so I started walking towards downtown over the bridge rather than taking the ferry. From there I walked through the sidestreets of the residential areas. It was a nice and calm sunday, but it was also sad because it was my last day in Vancouver. Once again I was ready to move to an new city without hesitation.

I really should have walked down Commercial Drive sooner. It is a great area, a little hipsterish but busy with handsome people, nice cafés and shops. I stayed there until the sun set and then walked all the way home. There I packed my things and tidied up my appartment.

Next stop Palo Alto!
